Shocking new footage of Alex Pretti, the 37-year-old ICU nurse who was shot dead in Minnesota, became the center of national attention recently.
In the newly released video, Alex is seen to be in the midst of a tense confrontation with federal immigration agents days before he was fatally shot by U.S. Border Patrol agents.

The video was said to have been recorded during protests in Minneapolis against immigration enforcement activity
It appeared to show Pretti yelling at officers, spitting in their direction and towards an ICE vehicle, and kicking out a taillight as the SUV drives away.

Agents then briefly restrain him during the encounter before slowly releasing him, and no arrest was made during that time.
The resurfaced video has since then drawn massive scrutiny as it arose roughly 11 days before Pretti was killed during a separate encounter with Border Patrol agents.
In another incident, authorities shared more on how he resisted an arrest and posed as a serious threat, claiming weapons were involved.
