Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was seen breaking down in tears while delivering an emotional and forceful rebuke of President Trump and federal authorities over the controversial killings of civilians by ICE officers in Minneapolis.
Kimmel set aside his usual humor to focus more on the likes of ICE agents and the fatal shootings that recently saw ICU nurse Alex Pretti die.
The host described seeing the footage of the incident as shocking and sickening, and kept on questioning the official narrative that the use of deadly force was justified.
He then went on to slam the agents involved as poorly trained and heartless, and expressed deep sorrow and frustration over the matter as a whole. 'These authorities will never acknowledge their mistakes'- he continued.
Kimmel then spoke about the political reply, taking specific aim at the President's efforts to defend all federal actions and challenge the legitimacy of protests that arose after the shootings took place recently.
