A shocking incident took place in Fullerton, Southern California, recently, where harrowing video footage showed the moment that a 19-month-old toddler was thrown outside a moving SUV into the middle of a busy intersection and managed to survive miraculously.
The footage was shared through social media, and it captured the moment that the black SUV turned at an intersection when the front passenger door swung right open, and the young child is seen falling out on the road.
The infant then lands in the path of traffic and narrowly avoids being hit by moving vehicles.
One vehicle is seen slamming the brakes to swerve and avoid a fatal collision.
After that, the child is seen hitting the pavement, and the driver in the SUV immediately stops and exits the car. She scoops up the child from the road and returns to the car before driving off.
