A newly shared crystal clear video is making the rounds on social media, and it's raising fresh questions about the killing of Minneapolis nurse Alex Pretti by Federal Immigration Officers.
The video appears to show the 37-year-old US citizen and how he was disarmed and restrained, moments before he was shot repeatedly on a city street. This footage has been stabilized and slowed to capture the final seconds before gunfire erupted. It was reviewed frame by frame by leading experts and journalists as well.
Furthermore, the footage also shows another angle of this incident, and the findings seem to contradict claims made by the Department of Homeland Security that Pretti brandished a weapon or posed as an immediate threat to the officers on duty.
It has further gone on to intensify the scrutiny of DHS claims that officers rolled out defensive shots after Pretti approached them with a handgun and violently resisted.
Instead, it shows the officers restraining him on the floor when his firearm is removed, moments before another agent comes and shoots him.
Adding to that scrutiny is a doctor who witnessed the aftermath from his nearby apartment, stating in an affidavit that the agents delayed in the performance of lifesaving aid. Instead, they could be seen counting the number of bullet wounds instead of administering CPR as the victim lay critically wounded on the ground.
