Actor Justin Chatwin is breaking his silence after the sudden and tragic death of his co-star and actress Hayden Panettiere.
Chatwin co-starred with her in her last movie role before she passed away on Sunday at the age of just 36.
Speaking to local media outlets, Chatwin mentioned how he and Panettiere crossed paths while she was making her star turn in the superhero drama Heroes and reconnected decades later for Sleepwalker, which was a thriller filmed at the end of 2025.
Chatwin says the pair hit it off great, and it was an awesome shoot, but it was about domestic abuse, and it was a topic that might have hit her close to home, because she did mention it. The star added that the actress opened up to him about a lot of things, and he knew that she was struggling with things like addiction and postpartum depression.
