The band's other member, James Jim Root, is now breaking his silence on the matter regarding his longtime member, Sid Wilson, getting kicked out.
The news was first shared over the weekend about the DJ and keyboardist getting the boot and being permanently removed earlier that day. This meant his 28-year-long run with the band came to a shocking end. The outlet did cite a close source to the band having direct knowledge about the situation.
On that same day, the Slipknot guitarist shared a very cryptic Instagram story that appeared to address the reported drama, which was soundtracked by the band's 2008 song Til We Die. "Don't believe anything and everything that you read! Stop, Think, and Take a breath! Sit with it for a while and maybe, just maybe, even wait until there is more information about this!" he revealed.
