Matt Damon has attained a lean, 167-pound physique while training for his hit film Odyssey.
Sources shared more about how this is his lowest weight since high school for this role as Odysseus in director Christopher Nolan's epic movie. Over a grueling six-month-long transformation period at the age of 55, Damon shed nearly 18 to 33 pounds from his usual walking weight by implementing a strict medically guided lifestyle overhaul.

Insiders claim the core of his diet was a strict elimination phase under medical guidance, which transformed his health and forced him to be incredibly intentional with his intake.

For the initial three months, he followed his doctor's orders and completely removed gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol, and caffeine. He then found the results so impactful that he opted to stick with the diet long term.
The star added that going gluten-free and completely removing gluten from his diet was the biggest game changer for him.
