The cause of death of Chris Anne Affleck, who is the mother of actors Ben Affleck and Casey Affleck, has now been revealed.
Sources from local media outlets were seen sharing more about how the former teacher and civil rights activist passed away at the age of 83 on June 2.
This is after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December. As per an obituary shared by the outlet, Chris was given six months to live following her diagnosis. The family did share her death on July 24 and added how she passed away from cardiopulmonary arrest while she was visiting her son's residence.
This is what was mentioned on her death certificate at the time. Sources also detailed more about how she suffered from pancreatic adenocarcinoma, which was listed as a condition that also led to her death, but no autopsy was performed.
