Meghan Markle’s on-set request leaves beloved ‘MasterChef Australia’ judge ‘upset’

Meghan Markle's team was seen requesting that producers on MasterChef Australia avoid using the term royalty during her guest appearance.

Judge Poh Ling Yeow unintentionally violated this protocol during the introduction, and that left her upset over this mistake. During a promotional clip for the same episode, Yeow introduced Meghan by saying something that didn't sit quite right with Meghan.

"We've had MasterChef royalty inside the kitchen before but no one like this. All the way from sunny California, please welcome to MasterChef Australia.... The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle!'

The 52-year-old judge was upset and so stressed out about being pulled into a royal political blunder. She wished to apologize to Meghan directly, but the network management said they would handle it.
