The controversial Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool has again been drained so that it can undergo repairs.
The news comes after facing plenty of problems ever since it was newly restored under a mega $14 million renovation project that began in April of this year.
President Trump did share how the drainage occurred through a post published on his Truth Social account. This is where he went on to claim that malicious vandals made use of sharp objects such as a knife or box cutter to slash the pool's watertight basin lining.
Trump then asserted that the damage was nearly 300 yards long, and that's a major increase from his past estimates of 250 and 350 feet. He also slammed all country-hating 'sleazebags' for both the tears and the pool's major ongoing algae issues.
