Tragic reports have confirmed the death of beloved actor and Jurassic Park star Sam Neill.
The celebrity has passed away at the age of 78 in Sydney, Australia. This sudden and unexpected news was shared by his loved ones, who noted that he died peacefully and remained cancer-free following his 2022 diagnosis with stage three angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma. No exact cause of death was revealed.

The actor was born in Northern Ireland, right before he moved to New Zealand as a child. This is where he built a prolific career that spanned more than five decades and more than 150 screen credits, including his work as a paleontologist on the famous Jurassic Park movie series.

Neil was celebrated for playing both dashing romantic leads and charismatic villains with notable performances in My Brilliant Career and Peaky Blinders, too. In 2022, he was honored with knighthood for his great services to acting, and is survived by his four kids and six grandkids.
