Rosie O’Donnell’s prison visit with daughter Chelsea was first time they’d spoken properly in 10 years

Rosie O'Donnell just had a very deeply emotional four-hour-long prison visit with her eldest daughter named Chelsea.

But you might be shocked to learn how this reunion marked the first time that the duo had spoken properly in a long time or had any kind of chat lasting longer than 25 minutes in a decade.

Chelsea is currently incarcerated after her probation was revoked in October of 2025. The news comes after a court appearance in February 2025, where she was said to be involved in multiple charges.

This includes the possession of methamphetamine and child neglect. O'Donnell shared that Chelsea has now been sober for nearly two years. Despite the visit that was cut short by a tornado warning, the comedian did note that she witnessed a healthy calm and genuine, empathetic emotion from her daughter for the first time in 10 years.
