Actor and producer Adam Sandler was seen making the headlines for his intense love for the sport of basketball less than two days after officiating the high-profile wedding of pop star Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce.
Before the star-studded ceremony arose in New York City, Sandler was seen squeezing in a pickup basketball game during a serious summer heat wave. Following the wedding, he spent the Fourth of July holiday in his home state of New Hampshire before traveling to Nantucket, Massachusetts, on Sunday, the next day.

After arriving on the island, the 59-year-old Happy Gilmore 2 star phoned the Nantucket Police Department's non-emergency line to ask about where he could find a local pickup game. Public safety dispatcher Chris Reynolds directed him to the Backus Lane court off Surfside Road.

Sandler drove over and joined a game with local residents. Player Andrew Kesler noted how Sandler rolled up, stretched, and jumped right into the game. He praised the star's performance, noting how he showed great passing and playmaking and some decent layups. But he did hesitate to shoot the ball. Sandler first bonded with Kelce on the set of Happy Gilmore 2.
