Fans were recently left in a state of fury after top performer Lil Wayne backed out from his own concert at the last minute.
The matter sparked serious outrage across the board when fans found out that he was a no-show at the opening night of his 20 year of Carter Classics Tour on Tuesday at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, Maine. Meanwhile, 2 Chainz was seen performing, and a DJ filled the time, but the rapper never took the stage for his set, which was scheduled for 10:45 pm.

By 11 pm, the crowd reportedly was sent home with no initial explanation. As per local media outlets, venue officials were seen apologizing for this incident. They noted how it was the first time in their 251-show history that something like this arose. This is despite the fact that securing a curfew extension to try and save the event took place.

Fans were said to be seriously disappointed at the act, and some even shared how they traveled as far as six hours or more to see the rapper, who wasted their time and money.
