Blake Lively Demands more than $8 million in legal fees and costs after winning dismissal of Justin Baldoni's defamation-related lawsuit

Actress Blake Lively has requested that a federal judge make Justin Baldoni pay a staggering sum of more than $8 million as the cost of her legal fees.

This will also include litigation costs from the leading director and co-star. The request was filed by Lively's teams today, right after the dismissal they received of Baldoni's defamation-related lawsuit against her.

Lively's attorneys were seen arguing about how the giant bill was broken down roughly into $7.5 million in attorneys' fees and $540,000 in litigation expenses. This was entirely necessary provided the case's high-profile status, extensive discovery process involving tens of thousands of documents, and even heavy attention from the press.

The financial move comes moments after the US District Judge ruled that Lively is still entitled legally to pursue these costs under the law of California.
