A Los Angeles County Medical Examiner report has confirmed the heartbreaking cause of death of former child star Daveigh Chase.

As per the LA County report, the star's cause of death was due to AIDS with chronic polysubstance use. The latter was listed as the contributing factor to her condition. The manner in which her death arose was declared natural.
Before her death on June 16, the celeb was said to be living in LA's Skid Row homeless encampment and was hospitalized for malnutrition, meningitis, and serious blood infections that led to a condition of sepsis.
In the days prior to her passing away, her lover established a GoFundMe campaign to provide her with the utmost comfort. He also shared that despite her early success in the entertainment industry, she endured a very difficult childhood and had a painful separation from her family.
