Supergirl Movie Bombs at the Box Office As Viewers Walk Away with Poor Reviews Due to Lackluster Performance

The highly anticipated movie Supergirl recently bombed at the Box Office.

The popular DC Studios film starring Milly Alcock and directed by Craig Gillespie fell short of viewers' expectations during its recent opening. Despite the fact that it had a hefty $170 million production budget, the movie totally failed to entice viewers, marking a major setback for the entire franchise.

The movie managed to generate just $38 million in the US and Canada, while it got $30 million overseas. This gave it a very underwhelming total of $68M during the global launch.

The film was said to be totally overshadowed by the likes of other leading movies, including Toy Story 5, which managed to stay at number one with $70 million domestic earnings and crossed nearly $585 million around the globe.
