Madonna graced the cover of a leading magazine where her shoot did all the talking for more than one reason. The star was seen shedding light on how her biopic had to be scrapped due to a falling out with the firm Universal Studios, thanks to the budget.
Madonna says nothing made her more excited than speaking about her life and making a movie out of it. For that, the leading entertainer was working on a script for nearly two years, and even spent a lot of her time having meetings with the team in charge. Be it casting or even the finances, Madonna made sure she was in the driver's seat at all times.
But to make the magic happen, she needed a huge budget to see her plans become a reality, and that's where her dreams soon became shattered. She was told that this was the only way to have the movie display her mega life, but what they failed to get their heads around is that she wasn't willing to give them more finances than what was originally discussed. Hence, the only way out was to scrap the idea from scratch.
The shoot showed Madonna donning an array of unique attire, smoking, and really capturing her unfiltered self. She didn't appear apologetic for not wearing makeup or looking her actual age for the first time, but fans feel it just ruined the fun for them, as the Queen of Pop they were seeing on stage had gone extreme this time around.
