During a performance at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater on Friday, superstar and legendary icon Rod Stewart was seen giving fans a major scare during his performance.
He nearly fainted on stage, and the 81-year-old certainly seemed like he was visibly unwell and in so much discomfort and pain mid-show, forcing his crew to step in. Online footage caught the rock icon bending over as crew members rushed an oxygen tank backstage to help him out.
After getting medical care and breathing assistance, the very resilient singer addressed the crowd. He made a few light-hearted jokes to let them all know that he was okay. He also refused to cancel the entire performance and made sure he finished the remainder of his set while he was seated on a chair.
As per reports from local media outlets, the health scare followed a major string of recent tour disruptions. He had just cancelled several dates across states like California and Nevada.
