Following the death of legendary TV director James Burrows, Jennifer Aniston was seen sharing a very deeply moving tribute on Instagram, remembering the famous Friends director as a lifelong father figure.
Burrows, who had won 11 Emmys and directed 15 episodes of the hit NBC sitcom, died at the age of 85, giving rise to mourning across the Hollywood industry.
Aniston used to refer to him in a very affectionate manner as Papa Burrows and expressed how hard it was to encapsulate his immense warmth in just a few paragraphs. She even recalled how he playfully called the cast 'the kids' and established a very unique and supportive environment on the set.
Beyond his professionalism, she added how he was a profound personal anchor in her life. She always looked up to him as a father figure, as he always checked up on her. He worried about her and celebrated her, taught her, and even showed her immense guidance, she added.
