An executive producer of Love Island USA has passed away in Fiji, where season 8 of the reality show was all set to film.
40-year-old James Barker is believed to have suffered from an unexpected medical emergency last week. The producer who started working on the popular reality show started as a story producer before serving as the EP for the past three seasons. He contributed to the hit show's production and post-production and even oversaw the show's soundtrack.
Both ITV America and Peacock plan to honor him in the Tuesday episode of the show that will be aired, TMZ has confirmed.
