A 40-foot inflatable of shirtless Elon Musk was seen appearing in Times Square to protest his AI chatbot Grok.
Unveiled by the coalition SAFE AI NOW, the balloon was tattooed with the message: SpaceX's Grok makes AI child porn. The protest was deliberately timed to coincide with SpaceX's massive public offering.
The coalition used the massive effigy to warn potential investors. They highlighted how SpaceX's shareholders could face liability for lawsuits and regulatory fines stemming from Grok's reported ability to produce explicit non-consensual imagery, including child sexual abuse material.
The shirtless and smiling figure featured several satirical tattoos, including a heart reading ketamine. Musk dismissed the claims made by the group in a post shared on X, stating how it's so dumb because all the claims are false and baseless.
