Knox Jolie, the youngest son of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, has reportedly chosen to drop Pitt from his surname on his high school graduation diploma.
The teen, who turns 18, walked across the stage at Fusion Academy in LA using only his mother's last name. This formal choice highlights the continuing, deep-seated rift between the Oscar-winning actor and his six kids following the finalization of his grueling divorce from Jolie.

Knox is the latest of several siblings to distance themselves from their father's famous last name through legal petitions or professional branding. Upon reaching her legal adulthood at the age of 18, she officially petitioned a LA court to legally strip Pitt from her name. Similarly, all of her other siblings have done the same, leaving Pitt nowhere to be found among any of his kids that he shares with Angelina.

The reason seems to be the legal separation of both stars and the family fallout that arose, including a high-profile incident where Pitt was physically abusive towards Maddox during a flight that prompted Jolie to file for divorce days later.
