Jenny Mollen has defended herself against the heavy social media backlash that she received after sharing images of herself embracing her 12-year-old son, Sid, in bed.
The actress got plenty of heat for thinking it was okay to share the pictures online, and even going as far as to caption it as a toxic boyfriend. This raised plenty of eyebrows across the board, as many couldn't help but wonder what the reason behind this could be.

The star is now breaking her silence on the matter and arguing about how she viewed the pictures as just some genuine closeness that was unjustly twisted into some kind of scandal that she could never even imagine.

The public outrage started when she first put out two pictures through Facebook and Instagram that showed her cuddling her son in bed. One of them featured an image where she could be seen lying on top of him. What made matters worse is her caption, which she soon deleted. "Your eldest son will be the most toxic boyfriend you ever have, "the post read.

Most viewers slammed the post and labeled the imagery as creepy, disturbing, and boundary-blurring. Critics argued that she needed a reality check if she thought such behavior was okay because it certainly was not.
