Tragic reports havec confirmed that veteran actor James Handy has died after being stabbed to death.
The tragic incident took place on Wednesday morning. The star was 81. According to reports from local media outlets, the actor was stabbed at his residence in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles, California where cops arrested his lover's son on suspicion of murder.
Around 9:30 am, an emergency call was made by the LA Police Department who responded to the scene after trouble was reported at a residence in the 19200 block of Erwin Street. The caller confessed chillingly to the dispatcher: "I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin."
Arriving officers found the star lying unconscious on the front yard suffering from several stab wounds to his chest. Paramedics rushed him to a nearby local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect has been identified as 44-year-old Michael Gledhill who lived at the home with his mother. Gledhill flagged down responding officers and turned himself in, stating he was the person that they were in search of. He's currently being held at Van Nuys Jail on a $2 million bail.
