Rebecca Grossman and former LA Dodgers players Scott Erickson were found responsible for the 2020 hit-and-run deaths of brothers Mark and Jacob Iskander, who were just 11 and 8.
A jury decided on Wednesday that they were both liable in the fatal crash that took place in Westlake Village, California. The LA Times shared more about how the decision arose after an eight-week-long trial where the jury was able to decide how to award the victims' parents and their younger brother $176 million in damages for the tragedy.
While Erickson was in a separate car ahead of Grossman on the street at the time of this incident, the jury did determine that he was negligent and that they acted in concert with one another in the course of their activities leading to this fatal collision.
