Shocking reports are speaking about the boss of popular radio station 2HD, Guy Ashford, getting suspended after he was caught on video grabbing broadcaster Cheralyn Darcey's backside on stage at the recently held Australian Awards in Sydney.
The incident arose at the Carriageworks in Sydney during the Australian Audio Awards. Sources shared more about how the incident left many in the audience speechless and in fury as Darcey had come to accept the award for Best Newcomer, but this was not the sort of welcome she was expecting, either.
Guy Ashford can be seen in the shocking footage walking onto the stage to congratulate her with a hug. After twirling her around, he was filmed grabbing her backside. Gasps were audible from the audience members who were watching the incident.
Recent reports have confirmed that the Super Radio Network, which owns 2HD, swiftly acted by suspending Ashford from his duties.
