Brad Pitt's son Maddox, 24, has become the latest member of his family to make another very powerful statement against his father.
Maddox Jolie-Pitt left many stunned when he officially filed a legal petition to drop Pitt from his last name, opting to go by Maddox Chivan Jolie moving forward. The 24-year-old eldest son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt requested the name change in a Los Angeles court filing, citing personal reasons for this decision.
The official filing done by Maddox was done in an effort to show his independence from his dad, insiders shared.
He used to be known as Maddox Jolie while working as an assistant director on his mother's film called Couture. Now, as the eldest sibling, Maddox previously gave a not very flattering adult testimony against Pitt during his parents' long-running custody battle.
