According to reports from local media outlets, she died peacefully at home yesterday morning. Curtis shared her thoughts on Instagram regarding her death, telling fans that she was her first friend, while honoring her with a tribute.
'She was my lifelong confidant, and now she's gone'- she shared. While the family did confirm that her death was peaceful in nature, they have refused to reveal any cause of death at this moment in time to the public.
Curtis also added how Kelly was remembered for her unique personality, heritage, and family traditions, where most people commonly referred to her as Auntie Cookie.
