The War of the Worlds actress Ann Robinson has passed away at the age of 96.
On Sunday, Tori Bravo shared with media outlets how his grandmother passed away peacefully at her residence in Los Angeles in September of 2025.

It's still not clear why the family chose to keep this news private and away from the press for so long.
The star began her career as a stunt rider, landing her first professional work in the year 1950 for the film called Frenchie. She went on to appear in several Westerns, including the 1951 hit movie The Cimarron Kid, before she landed the leading role of Sylvia Van Buren in the 1953 hit classic The War of the Worlds opposite Gene Barry.

Robinson later played versions of this character in 1988's Midnight Movie Massacre and the Naked Monster, as well as three episodes of the War of the Worlds TV series that aired during the late 80s.
