Federal officials in San Diego detained and deported more than two dozen cruise ship workers, including some from Disney Magic, in what appears to be a case of child porn operation.
Between April 23 and April 27, the US Customs and Border Protection says officers had boarded eight cruise ships at the Port of San Diego Cruise Ship Terminal, which was present alongside Harbor Drive, as part of the ongoing Child Sexual Exploitation Material enforcement operations.
CBP reported that 27 of the 28 people detained by federal officers were involved in possession, transport, distribution, or viewing child porn.
After boarding all eight ships, officers detained nearly 26 crew members from the Philippines, one crew member from Portugal, and one from Indonesia as part of enforcement operations.
