Hotel owners appear in court after woman, 21, found ‘crushed to death by wardrobe’ in room on night out with pal

Tragic reports are speaking about a young woman being crushed to death inside a room on a night out with her pals.

The incident arose when the wardrobe fell on top of her, making it impossible for her to move after the giant structure collapsed right on top of her.

The owners of a hotel have now appeared in court after a young woman named Chloe Hayes, who was just 21.

She was found by her friend, trapped under the wardrobe at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Britannia Hotels, which also owns the Adelphi, now faces 20 charges of breaching health and safety regulations.

Some specifically relate to the room where Ms Haynes was staying, being room number 510. It was also said to be an alleged failure to stop the wardrobe from tipping over.
