Kodak Black arrested in Florida for alleged drug trafficking

Rapper Kodak Black has been arrested in Florida on drug trafficking charges as shown by inmate records.

The 28-year-old star, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was booked on Wednesday into the Orange County Jail. He's now being held without a bond. Black who has a history of drug-related charges is now facing a new charge that has to do with trafficking 10g of MDMA.

The star's rep is yet to respond to any requests for comments on the matter, but the incident has left fans in shock.

Trafficking of any amount is equal to or more than 10g of MDMA, which is a synthetic drug with stimulant and hallucinogenic properties, and it's considered a serious first-degree felony in the state of Florida and carries a mandatory minimum prison sentence of three years and a fine of $50,000.
