A toddler is currently in an induced state of coma after accidentally inhaling a baking ingredient.
Katie Robinson was reportedly baking a Bluey themed 1st birthday cake for her friend's child when her 14-month-old son, named Dusty, fell unconscious due to gold dust powder inhalation, as per one family friend.

When the dust is mixed with water, it turns into a paste. So it swiftly blocked Dusty's lungs and caused him to become unresponsive.
The toddler was rushed from the family's Gold Coast residence to a hospital in Brisbane, where he had an emergency surgery to clear his lungs. He was soon placed in a state of coma.

Evrard confirmed in a statement on Instagram that the gold dust product had been removed from shelves.
Dusty had a fever overnight and some hypertension, and they moved his tube from his mouth to his nose. He appears to be more comfortable right now. Sadly, he's still in a state of induced coma.
