Iran drones and missiles attack United Arab Emirates causing fire at oil plant

It wouldn't be wrong to claim that the war between the US and Iran is far from over.

While many had hoped that a ceasefire had worked, it appears that things are going in the wrong direction again.

Iran reportedly shot twice at a US-based aircraft carrier that is situated in the Arabian Sea. But that was just the start of the conflict yesterday, as a major fire broke out at a key oil facility in the UAE.

This is right after Iran fired 19 missiles and drones at the Gulf nation in a dangerous escalation of the Middle East conflict, as per local officials.

The UAE mentioned that it had come under attack for the first time since the US-Israel cease-fire with Iran, as it secured last month, with Tehran accused of hitting the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone, which is the nation's biggest port and oil storage area.

The blast left three Indian nationals injured, with Abu Dhabi slamming the attack as a form of dangerous escalation as Iran and the US traded fire along the Strait of Hormuz on Monday.
