The former US Navy SEAL who shot dead Osama bin Laden is now sharing his only regret after the very brave, deadly encounter.
He mentioned more about how he wished the Al Qaeda monster that he killed with three shots to the head had ended up getting buried at sea. Instead, he wished to have him hanged from a bridge in New York City and have locals deal with him.
Speaking to The Post recently during an interview, he added more details about the entire account that took place nearly 15 years back at Bin Laden's secret compound in Abbotabad, Pakistan.
He also shared more about the heroic operators' 9/11 motivations, such as how they were going for the single mother who dropped her children off at school on a Tuesday morning, then one hour later, had to jump out of the World Trade Center, pressing down her skirt as her last act of human decency.
He added that he found out about the top-secret mission three weeks before it was carried out, and the first thing he was told was that this is not a drill, but it's real. He added that they told him nothing, not even the suspect's name, location, country, etc. It was all revealed at the very last minute.
