Everything claimed after Texas mom said she saw her son's 'skinned' body in museum exhibit

A mother from Texas is opening up about a nightmare that she says no other parent should ever have to go through in their lives.

This includes mourning the passing of her own son, only to later find that his skinned and preserved body was displayed at a museum in Las Vegas.

In the year 2018, 54-year-old Kim Erick says she came across pictures of a real body exhibition in Las Vegas. While seeing the pictures online, she literally froze for a minute. One of the cadavers posed for public display featured a horrifying familiarity that she simply couldn't get over.

She recalled telling herself that she knew it was him and how she recognized her son immediately. This was due to specific details of the body, and that's when she accused the exhibition of deliberately obscuring his real identity in the process.

"It was just so painful to look at," the mother mentioned. Kim's son was found dead at his grandmother's home. Officers told her that he died after suffering from two heart attacks in his sleep.

Before she could see him one last time, she mentioned how his father handled all the arrangements. Cremation was authorized quickly, and no funeral was held. All she got in the end was a necklace that supposedly featured a vial of his ashes. But the museum has rejected her claims and asked the mother to seek help as she's not mentally well. No other evidence from her side was brought forward, and the case was closed, despite her side of the story. Investigations proved how the bodies used in the exhibit come from China and even the police have refused to cooperate.
