The hunt for the second missing University of South Florida student has come to a tragic end after her remains were found inside a trash bag by a fisherman recently.
Doctoral students Nahida Bristy and Zamil Limon, who hailed from Bangladesh, went missing on April 16 in Tampa. Her remains were discovered in a trash bag on the Howard Frankland Bridge, one week later.
Their roommate has been charged with the couple's deaths. Authorities confirmed how they managed to locate Nahida Bristy and contacted her loved ones about the discovery.
They are now working actively to release both bodies for religious reasons back to the families who live in Bangladesh, the Sheriff's office revealed. Bristy's identity was confirmed through dental work, clothing, and DNA.
