Tragic reports are speaking about at least two people killed and eight more injured after a mass shooting broke out at a house party attended by adults and kids.
Police in Texas were called to the Westminster Apartments at about 2 am on Saturday following reports of the shooting.
Terrified neighbors were reported to have heard machine gun fire and dozens of shots, as per local media outlets, as one of the witnesses who lived nearby detailed more on the matter.
Nine other victims were rushed to the hospital, and five are currently in critical condition. At least one of the hospitalized victims has since passed away, authorities shared recently.
Amarillo police mentioned more about how the group of juveniles and young adults was attending an event at a different location before they were asked to leave.
They then followed attendees to another party that was held at the Westminster Apartments, where they tried to enter and started to shoot in all directions.
