Shocking reports are speaking about a man who is now facing serious felony charges, including possessing substances to operate a meth lab, after Michigan State University police found him inside the school's biggest academic building during a recent investigation.
The suspect was identified as 31-year-old Xin Tong, who was charged on Wednesday with malicious destruction of property and possessing substances to operate a meth lab after officers found him inside Wells Hall, which is present on the East Lansing, Mich. campus.
Cops first responded to the scene after they got a report of alleged trespassing on Sunday, as confirmed by the police chief, who was familiar with the matter.
Officers found the man inside the building that night with several bags of liquids, which investigators later found out to be hydrochloric acid, methanol, isopropyl alcohol, and butane.
