A mother whose teen son was jailed for assault after he was filmed slamming a classmate to the ground and stomping on her face says her boy is the victim.
The horrifying footage shared online showed the exact moment that the unidentified 14-year-old boy confronted the girl, on an East Harlem street corner on Monday afternoon.
He could be heard telling her in a threatening tone how he would knock the shit out of her right now and ordered her to stop in the crosswalk.
His friends were heard in the background, encouraging him and hyping him up to conduct this attack.
The girl made some efforts to walk away and told him to get back as he inched closer to her. This is the point where he grabbed her from the back, lifted her up, and slammed her against the ground.
The boy then chose to stomp across her head as she lay on the ground. It's still not clear why he behaved so harshly, as the victim's mother says she's astonished that her daughter is still alive after this brutal act.
