A father from Wisconsin has been charged after a tragedy unfolded at his own residence.
The family's house was reportedly engulfed in flames, killing all three of his children in Kenosha. As per authorities, the fire broke out on Thanksgiving night in 2025, starting in the kitchen area of the home.

As per investigators, Kannin mentioned to the police how he first noticed the fire and started to panic, leaving the home and seeking help, instead of first trying to rescue the kids inside.
The victims were reportedly 10,9, and 7 - all trapped inside. Two of the kids died at the scene, while the youngest was reportedly hospitalized with serious burns and later passed away from his injuries.

Prosecutors have charged the father with three counts of child neglect that gave rise to the kids' deaths.
Officials alleged that there were some serious safety concerns in the apartment, including a missing or disabled smoke detector.
