Benjamin Netanyahu reveals cancer diagnosis

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently shared that he was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer and underwent successful treatment as per an official medical report that was shared by his office today.

The condition was discovered during routine follow-up examinations after he underwent surgery for benign prostate enlargement. A small lesion was identified inside the prostate, and further tests indicated that it was a very early-stage malignant tumor with no signs of spread.

Doctors presented the Israeli prime minister with treatment options, including monitoring or active intervention, and he chose to proceed with targeted radiation therapy.

The treatment was carried out at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem under specialist supervision. The surgery was described as very successful by his doctors.

Netanyahu shared how he personally chose to keep the diagnosis private for a period of time due to security and political considerations.
