Russel Brand was recently seen opening up about a past s*xual encounter he would now like to call out as very exploitative.
The comedian who was seen fighting several allegations of s*xual assault and r*pe in the UK courts since the year 2023 has now detailed more about an experience yesterday while showing up at the Megyn Kelly Show, leaving viewers in shock and fury.
He tried to justify his actions by mentioning that where he's from, the age of consent is 16. And he did sleep with a 16-year-old when he was 30. But when he was that age, he mentioned that he was a very different person from what he is today.
"I was very young and very immature at 30," he added. He then continued to focus on the terms consensual sex with a number of people when there was a strong power differential.
"When you're a famous man that has the chance to attract all types of females that I had at the time, I think it does end up being exploitative,"- he concluded. While many did praise him for coming out clean on national television, others slammed his casual stance on the matter.
