Actress Blake Lively is opening up about how the alleged mean girl smear campaign that was put out by actor Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer Productions ended up costing her a staggering amount of money, $300 million to be exact, in lost profits and potential income.
The Gossip Girl star says she suffered a major financial toll in an amount that was nearly $36 to $40 million due to Baldoni's alleged use of the retaliatory phrases tone deaf, bully, and mean girl.
In his efforts to damage her reputation, the court documents shared more on this matter from April 17.
Citing her expert, Dr. Ashlee Humphreys, who was a professor of marketing communications at Northwestern University, the star also shared how Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, made retaliatory statements along the course of their tense It Ends With Us feud have cost her an amount calculated to be $24,375,267.
Humphreys reached the calculated amount in damages by quantifying the reach of the statements through their online impressions and coming up with particular dollar damages.
As far as income is concerned, she says her estimated damages came out to be between $34 to $87 million. The majority of those had to do with lost projects and limited TV series.
