A young backpacker's final moments were shared in a series of haunting images after she fell into a volcano, with queries now rising about how she was abandoned by her own tour guide from the trip.
26-year-old Juliana Marina was from Brazil and had a passion for travel and exploring. She was said to be on a dream journey since the start of February this year and wandered through Southeast Asia, capturing each step of her journey and sharing messages with her loved ones back home.
This is especially true for her mother and father, who were excited to learn about her new discoveries on her journey. Her last image post featured her smiling with the caption: 'Never try, never fly', before her profile was changed to private status.
