A leading Virginia Tech football game was recently delayed after a skydiver struck the stadium's scoreboard.
As per reports from USA Today, a spring game was getting scheduled to start at 3pm local time on Saturday at Hokie's Lane Stadium in Blacksburg when the skydiver suddenly flew into the stadium.

Video footage shared through social media showed two to three parachuters who were seen attending the event, with American flags linked to their gear, flying over the crowd just before the event was supposed to begin.
The first skydiver successfully glided past the board, but the second one was seen ramming into the scoreboard and needed emergency personnel to step in.

In a statement put forward by social media, the association mentioned more about how the skydiver was safely secured and is currently stable.
Their main focus right now is their well-being. They also extended their sincere appreciation to all the first responders involved, including the event staff and medical personnel taking part in the swift operation.
