Nathalie Baye, ‘Downton Abbey’ and ‘Catch Me If You Can’ star, DEAD

French actress Nathalie Baye has died at the age of 77.

The tragic news was confirmed by the star's family to state more details about how the celeb passed away at her residence in Paris, one day before. Her death comes after a battle with Lewy body dementia.

The 'Catch Me If You Can' star was reportedly diagnosed with the condition last year in the summer. This is a medical condition that comprises a progressive neurodegenerative disease that could impact movement, cognitive thinking, and result in hallucinations.

Her career spanned five decades after she first received her start in the early 70s.

The young talent at the time landed an episode on the television series Au Revoir les Enfants in 1970 before she rose to fame three years later with the rom-com Day for Night.

She always shared her passion for working in the industry and her desire to make a lot of movies and work alongside so many talented directors. For her, cinema was not only her passion but also her love.
