Madonna, 67, hijacks Sabrina Carpenter's Coachella headlining set in racy purple lingerie

Madonna made her recent Coachella comeback in the form of a surprise cameo during Sabrina Carpenter's headlining set on Friday.

The 67-year-old songstress is now preparing for the release of her hotly anticipated Confessions II comeback album. Joining her on stage was Sabrina, causing the audience to erupt into a huge, loud uproar of cheers.

The news comes 20 years after Madonna performed her own headlining set at the music festival back in the year 2006. The duo belted out lyrics to some of Madonna's hits, including Vogue and Like a Prayer, as the crowd excitedly sang along.

The iconic star, also known as the Queen of Pop, wowed in a racy purple corset as well as matching bottoms as she strutted her stuff on the stage. She further wore a pair of elbow-length lavender gloves and knee-high heeled boots.

Her blonde locks were parted in the center and cascaded past her shoulders into soft curls.

Sabrina Carpenter was in the midst of her performance when all of a sudden, Madonna popped up on stage, giving fans an absolute treat. The look of shock across the board was undeniably a great sight.
