Just weeks after the reports of a bombshell claim by the defense for Tyler Robinson, who is accused of assassinating conservative activist Charlie Kirk last year, there is another new twist in this case.
As per several reports, documents filed by the defense in this case claimed that the bullet used in this assassination does not match the rifle that has been linked to Robinson.
TMZ shared how Robinson's defense team is arguing that there's a discrepancy between the ballistic evidence and the weapon prosecutors say is linked to him.
Now the ATF's report is unsealed, and it displays the findings regarding Robinson, his gun, and the bullet used to kill Kirk. The report detailed how it showed clear signs that the bullet used could have been fired from Robinson's gun.
The news comes as Tyler Robinson's legal team is gearing up to call an expert witness who worked on some murder cases at an upcoming hearing that would decide if courtroom cameras will be allowed or banned.
Robinson was charged with aggravated murder after right-wing political commander Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University. He had a PhD in social psychology.
